Join Our Volunteer Circle!

Summer 2020 taught us that there are many amazing Black radical women and gender non-binary folks who are looking for a political community! While we are not a political home for adults, we hope to be able to create space for Black women and gender non-binary folks interested in both thinking through abolition, transformative justice, and restorative justice, and working through their commitment to those practices in their community(ies).
To address this need, we opened our very first Volunteer Circle in 2021. We open the volunteer circle as we can, and encourage folks to apply if interested, even if the circle isn’t currently open. If you are a Black Radical woman or gender non-binary adult over 25 years old and living in the city of Chicago and you’d like to engage in political study and mutual aid with people like yourself please apply for our volunteer circle here:
